A small idea, an annoying problem.
It started with a basement furnace, a calendar reminder, and one too many trips to the hardware store for a slab of cardboard and pleated paper that would be in the trash twelve weeks later.
We did the math: a typical Canadian home throws out four to six disposable HVAC filters every year. Multiply that by every house, condo, and rental unit in the country and you get a quiet, constant stream of synthetic fibres heading straight to landfill — for a product that, mechanically, is incredibly simple.
